Short rows aren’t scary! Come and learn this superb technique, it is great for adding shape to your knitting or for working short row heels on socks. We will work a small swatch during the class so you can get a feel for the techniques.
 
This class will take place at North East Wool Show 2025, Newcastle Racecourse.
 
Included: Instructions, tuition.
 
Need to bring: Smooth yarn of your choice for the swatch, needles to suit your yarn and tension, stitch markers.
 
Need to know: Comfortable with basic knitting skills - cast on, knit, purl, cast off.
 
Time : 2:30pm to 3:30pm
 
Workshop terms and conditions
Please note you must hold a valid ticket for the show, purchased separately, to attend this workshop. 
Everyone present during the session must book a space, no spectators.
The minimum age for workshops is 13 years. Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult. 
If the workshop is cancelled by the instructor a full refund will be provided.
Refunds will be provided in accordance with UK distance selling law.
Refunds made more than 7 days before the workshop will have a transaction fee of £2 deducted.
No refund will be given for cancellation within 7 days of the workshop date.
